He had a love of all things nature, and Mike enjoyed the bounties of hunting, fishing and kayaking, always with his trusty camera in tow. Many of his photographs have been displayed in local hospitals, hotels, and published in former Echoes magazine. Videography and photography was not only his career, but also his passion his artistic eye captured thousands of images of animals and landscapes as he trekked throughout the North Maine Woods. Mike worked for Aroostook County's most popular news station, WAGM/Grey Media Group, for over 30 years, as a videographer, until his recent retirement in 2019. He was born December 9, 1953, in Fort Kent, a son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Rossignol) McNally, and was a graduate of University of Maine-Fort Kent. McNally, 68, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Nicolas is survived by his parents, Thomas and Heidi Johnson, and sister, Olivia Johnson of Levant, as well as his beloved dog, Joey. Nic was a loving, sweet young man who never had a bad word to say about anyone and his light, love and laugh could brighten up the darkest day. He enjoyed playing cards and miniature golf with his family. Nic loved playing ball and snuggling with Joey, who he picked out from Bangor Humane Society and named. He also helped many other Boy Scouts with their Eagle Scout projects as he was always willing and happy to help anyone in need. At the young age of 14, Nic earned Boys Scouts highest award - Eagle Scout Rank. He loved the challenge of guarding the other teams best players with all he had. He started playing soccer at four years old and was an amazing goalie, never losing his passion for it. Nic's two biggest passions in life were sports and his dog, Joey. He attended All Saints Catholic School and Graduated in 2021 from John Bapst Memorial High School. Nic was born in Bangor, Maine, the son of Thomas and Heidi Johnson. Levant - Nicolas Cordell Johnson, 19, of Levant, Maine died unexpectedly on February 10, 2023, of mental health illness.
